The Jubilee Pedestrain Bridge opened originally in 1845 as a suspension pedestrian foot bridge, the Jubilee Bridge was completed in 2002 in honor of Queen Elizabeth II 50th year reign on the throne. Claude Monet painted the original bridge in 1899, the Charing Cross Bridge.

On overhead view of Big Ben and the Houses of  Parliament on a rainy day.

The best looking Brit we have seen so far. The boys giving their own twist on how to pose for a picture. I don't know if it was the rain or the twelve year old boy. I will blame it on the rain. I hope he was founding the gold he was looking for.

Tanner getting his groove on with David Beckham, the most famous British football player from the south side of London originally.

The girls wishing he was real.

Practicing for the guards at the palaces, I hear they are just as stiff.

Dinner in London. A quick bowl of soup and hot bread after a very chilly day.

The view from our apartment down the street. Todd was picking up dinner one night at one of the little restaurants on our street and noticed a number of movie stars pictures on the wall. The owner began to list all the movies that had been filmed on this street. Of course, Todd could only remember one, The Bourne Identity. I almost went down and asked and looked for myself, but that would have been a little creepy.

The view looking the other way, not so exciting and a lot more modern than any place we have stayed so far. I asked Todd about this and considering that most of the city was burned in the Great Fire of  London in 1666 and again destroyed by heavy bombing during WWII, most of the city's history was lost.
