July 9: Day 3 Paris
The day starts as usual, a ride on the metro and trying to get the boys to stop messing with each other. This is Tanner's "I didn't do it look." He didn't know I was snapping the picture.

This is what happens when I say, "Cheez!" Tyler is like whatever. He had better get in trouble once you are done with the pictures.

This is Dad's, "I don't feel so good today and I am not going to cheez, or do anything for your camera today." I think this was the first day of his fever. He ran one for two and had some serious stomach problems. We think it maybe something he fished out of the sink that he shouldn't have. Sorry Dad, but no pain no gain. We are still on vacation and you are being a trooper, with a poopy face, but still a trooper.

We have been circling The Louvre the past couple of days, but finally went in for a visit today.

A family pic before we fought the crowds inside The Louvre.

In a halfway on our way to the Mona Lisa and the crowds are not crazy yet.

iAfter five million Euro renovation and a couple of years, Mona Lisa is in her own room and behind glass, a lot different than when I saw her over 25 years ago. Francios I invited Leonardo to visit him in France. An older Da Vinci packed only a few paintings with him, one was a portrait of the wife of a wealthy Florentine merchant. Francios I fell in love with Lisa del Giocondo's portrait, making it the centerpeice of a small collection of Italian masterpieces. In three centuries, this collection has become The Louvre Museum. The translation for Mona Lisa is a contraction for the Italian "my Lady Lisa".

Fighting the moshpit infront of The Mona Lisa, wanted to document our actual visit infront of her. We are just about the be crushed.
