The view from our apartment. Venice is divided up into six main districts, representing different parts of the fish. We were in the Dorsoduro district, the belly of the fish. This is the southernmost district and quiet at night. We can roam the streets and feel like real Venetians because all the other tourists stay close to St. Mark's Square.
