After lunch and a quick stop in a chocolate shop, we headed to the park and the lake. The boys found this tree to climb so we had to take a picture.
A view of Lake Lugano which is in the Swiss Alps. The town is the largest Italian speaking city outside Italy. Most of the people resembled typical Italians, but a good number were the traditional blonde haired, blue-eyed, fair skin Swiss.
Lugano, settled by the Romans by the 1st century B.C., was a part of Todd's mission. As of late, Lugano has become more popular with famous athletes, movies stars, and other rich and famous, earning it the nickname of the Monte Carlo of Switzerland.
The boys playing in Lake Lugano. None of us wore our swimsuits so the boys were the only ones to get in. Luckily, the walk to the water was rather pebbly so they concentrated on their footwork rather than the shorelines. We just got a taste of what Nice will be like. The boys were oblivious. Let's hope that holds.
It was a hot day. I even got in. The waves infront of the boys are where the little stream is empyting into the lake. I was just keeping an eye on the scenery and making sure I navigated their way back to their shoes through the least dangerous way... if you know what I mean.
The waiting for their brothes to finish their swim.
Veranna
A long day, but back in Fiumelatte on Como for dinner.
