The girls and I at the center of town on the way back from the Uffizi.
Tyler decided that the laundry on the line was not working so well for him so he was ironing everything of his, including his underwear.
The girls up to their usually evening activities, high tech tangoes.
This is our air conditioning in Florence. Though the apartment is a three bedroom and huge, it does not have air conditioning. Our fan was getting a little crazy so Tanner lent his shoes to save the day. It really wasn't that bad. These old buildings are made well and keep the cool in. We still resorted to dressing like the ancients. It was a lot cooler.
I am sold on bodeaus. This is better than the shrink wrapped toilets. I was showing Tanner how to use it the other day and told said that he thinks I scared him for life. What's new. Note to self though; make sure you check the temperature of the water before you turn it on. I may not be seating for a week after the first scalding I got. Not that I was planning on it anyway with all the sight seeing we were doing, but just in case I wanted to. Tanner, by the way, is a complete convert. He loves them now, as long as he doesn't sink too low and wet the whole back of his t-shirt. That is is hole new set of problems I hadn't thought about.
Our bed, fit for a king and queen.
The view out of one of our windows.
This is what I see each morning and evening as I am collecting our laundry on the line.
