A top the green dome of St. Simeone Piccolo Church sits St. Simeone who waves "ciao" to whoever comes and goes through Venice.
On our way to Murano island, one of the hundred islands that make up Venice. This island is world famous for their glass-making skills. A picture of the marshes that Venice was built on. You can see why the city has been sinking since the 5th century, not very stable.
