There she is, just off Piazza delle Erbe. Do you see the joy in her face? Tanner on the other hand didn't get it. I explained to him the plot of the play and the history behind the story. And his comment, "That is so stupid. Why would you kill yourself over someone else. Just get another boyfriend, especially since your parents didn't like him anway." He also asked why can't anyone in this place paint a picture with people having clothes on. Why do they always have to be nude? I just told him they didn't have air conditioning back then so it was too hot to wear clothes.

Two dreamy girls dreaming about....

Telling secrets outside Juliet's bedroom. And yes, I made them do that.

A romantic view of the balcony.

Before you start freaking out, a tradition started who knows when or where or why of holding the right breast. It is suppose to give you luck, or luck in love, or a firm grip to make sure you don't fall off the side of the statue while you are taking your picture. When Ty was done he just said, "that felt so wrong."

Monkey see. Monkey do.

Juliet's famous words said outside her balcony to Romeo.... sigh.... and sigh again.

A couple of years ago, Verona cleaned up all the graffiti inside the wall to Juliet's house. Looks like it didn't help much. People leave notes on every square inch. They also leave love letters stuck in cracks in the wall and fashion their chewing gum in the shape of a heart and post it on the wall with the graffiti.
