So the trip down the stairs was worth it. This is the view we saw upon our arrival outside our deck.

The sun doesn't set here until after 9:00 p.m. Aren't we lucky.

Does it get any better than this? We don't think so.

Kylie took this photo off our deck. Pretty cool.

Inside our Como paradise.

A shot of the town up the road, Varenna.

We were pleasantly surprised because Todd told us that we wouldn't have Wi-Fi in Como. The kids thought they had died and gone to heaven when we got here and then they spied the Wi-Fi box and went crazy. Now, for sure they know that they are in heaven.

The fountain, a remnant of Villa LaCapuano, is right outside our door. If we want to, we can take our lunch down, and eat on the terrace right infront of it. The building we are staying in was part of the original Villa LaCapuano built in 1537. It was the most beautiful in Fiumelatte during its time. We found this information flipping through a history book of Lake Como and noticed the black and white fountain area was exactly what we see in color out our front door.

Now this is what I have been waiting for, just relaxing.

The kids playing in the hot tub on the deck.
